So, the 'new normal' continued through much of the traditional touring season and since our friends from 'across the pond' faced uncertainty about making plans for visits to Scotland.....the spare days threw up a rather unexpected opportunity to tackle jobs on the home front, some of which were long overdue ! Ah, the joys of house-painting ! I may not be blessed with much natural ability faced with such tasks....but by the end of several weeks I got quite proficient with
scraping & sanding tools, roller, paint, brush and shinning up and down the scaffolding. Quietly
(smug) satisfied at the end of job !
That said, I must happily add that it was a pleasure to meet a select handful of clients and enjoy a few days touring here & there... bumping into the cattle in beautiful Glen Lonan along the way !
